What are you UP to?
About two months ago I was buzzed on Skype by a gentleman from Italy . He asked if I had a few minutes to talk to him. It was a dull, boring wet day so I agreed to talk for five minutes or so. He told me his name, where he lived and what he did for a living. Then he asked several questions which I answered without giving away any information.

Funny post Grannymar. You're brave chatting to a random caller . . .mine have all been rather suspiciously named and so I've blocked them all. I'm not sure I want to have a chat with SanjayFunlove, or BedJockey or Fartout-ja who has called me at least four times!
Baino several attempts have been made to chat with me on Skype. Most of them I have declined and blocked. As I say it was a dull day when Romano Italiano (not his real name)called, and it has worked out well so far. I do know his real name and have full confirmation that he is genuine.
In that case, I don't suppose it will be too long before you will be called Grannyitaliano. Love is in the air. That's Amore,as they say.
.
Have you made a date with him yet?
Also, your post was a terrific examination of the English language. I loved all the examples you gave of the use of the word UP!
English is a very difficult language indeed. I think I have mentioned before that my father in Law was from Germany and was a baker. He always said he had to make his DUFF. He meant dough. He explained that TOUGH was tuff and ROUGH was ruff so DOUGH was duff.
Grannyitaliano!! No way Nancy, Why do you think I have no webcam. He would well fit into the Toyboy bracket, but is only interested in learning english.
Ask Elly she will tell you.
Aha! I found you on Skype!!
*evil grin*
Expect the phone to ring at all sorts of strange times....
Grandad I only talk to Toyboys!!
